Accessibility statement
The CONWE wants everyone to be able to use the website and app, including people who use a screen reader, only a keyboard, larger text or higher contrast.
We aim for WCAG 2.2 level AA and keep checking and fixing; the service does not yet fully meet it, and the known limitations are listed below.
What we do
- The website and app are available in Chinese, English and Khmer.
- Main tasks can be done with a keyboard alone, with a clearly visible focus outline.
- Buttons and links have touch targets of at least 44×44 pixels.
- Icons and form fields have text names that screen readers announce.
- Text can be enlarged, and pages do not scroll sideways at phone width.
- Several colour schemes are offered, including dark ones.
Known limitations
- On some forms the borders of input fields and secondary buttons have too little contrast, so it can be hard to see where to type; this is being fixed.
- Screen reader output (VoiceOver, TalkBack) has not yet been fully checked on real devices.
- Maps come from a third party and have limited keyboard and screen reader support; property addresses are also given as text.
- Photos uploaded by users have only automatic descriptions, which may not describe them fully.
